The Department of Business Administration strives to provide a learning environment that fosters scholarship, intellectual curiosity, and collegiality. Its degree programs prepare students for meaningful and responsible participation in a broad range of career settings—in business, in government, and in a variety of private and public institutions—and for advanced professional certification or graduate-level education.
The department offers courses that lead to the Associate of Criminal Justice; the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice; the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; and the Bachelor of General Studies (with concentrations in business and criminal justice). The department also offers minors in accounting, business, computer information systems, and criminal justice.

Business Incubator
Students enrolled in LSUA’s Business Administration program have access to classes and entrepreneurial projects at the Business Education Center, located at the Central Louisiana Business Incubator in Alexandria.
